9-11

9-11
My dear online friend Jon, sent me a reminder of what he was doing on 9-11-2001

It is still hard for me and many to remember that dreadful morning and recall the empty and dismay of what we were witnessing on television. An attack on America. The helplessness was painful.

Many people’s lives were changed on that dreadful morning, yet America is valiant and brave as it attempts to maintain the America that so many people come to her to seek and enjoy.

Youtube: we remember.. tribute in light.

My prayers to all the families and their loved ones. We Remember.
Godspeed.

  1. On this day 8 years ago, the heart of every american received a heartbreaking blow.

On this day, the cries of the relatives of those that died didn’t cry alone, for they had a every American joining them in their grief, pain and sorrow but above all, praying for them.

On this day, the American nation that represents in the world the meltdown of a grand variety of cultures, customs and idiosincracies, rose courageously and, defiantly, showed the world that we have, still and will continuously stand for “FREEDOM” and accept nothing less.

  2. Anger and fear blackened the sky, showering chunks of metal and rock

Pulling the heart down to the Earth’s-core, releasing agony’s shriek

Passionate hate, vengeance, and jet-fuel were ignited horribly hot

Fossilized muck, deep in the sick-spirit, was bled and vomited out

Now the world had made sense for the very last time

Every last gleam of pure innocence met its grim doom

Humans have come thundering down judgment upon humanity’s work

Anger and fear blackened the sky, showering chunks of metal and rock
