Christmas Vespers

I love my son Geordan…. he is so much stronger than he knows himself to be. I could only wish I could give him more, he so deserves beauty, happiness, health, love, Joy, and all his hearts wishes. He brings so much of that and more to my heart.

We had the pleasure of starting off the Christmas season with his invitation to hear him play at Christmas Vesper at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Knowles Memorial Chapel is one of the oldest and most beautiful historic Mediterranean Revival building in Florida. Every time I go there I am fascinated with the attention to architectural detail.

We enter the chapel and all is dim… as we take our seat I notice that even the “Christmas Star” is dim… waiting to shine, in anticipation to the narration the birth of baby Jesus. I eagerly look at the program and my eyes delight to see my son’s name on there: Double Bass/ Geordan Raisler

The choir and orchestra fill every nook of the chapel with the sound of Christmas carols, and for a moment it seems that angels descended among us.

For a moment all feels well in the world. Feelings of Joy, Peace and Love all at once.

We are ready for a tour on the Butler Express and arrive back in town feeling the spirit of Christmas…
