Elivate Yourself

We live in a society that loves to distract us. One of worst kept secrets of success is: The power of focus.

Relaxation and meditation can change every aspect of how we live our lives.
For the most part, when it comes to meditation, I believe that many are under the impression that to meditate one must sit for hours on end chanting quietly. Meditation is a way to calm the chatter of the mind, and in turn this helps to calm the body.

Here is a simple meditation technique I practice. Start with sitting comfortably for a few minutes, focus on your breath coming in and out of your body. Before you know it, you will catch yourself thinking all kinds of silly thoughts. Don’t fight it, allow thoughts to come into your mind. Don’t linger with them, just allow them to pass by like clouds in the sky.

By practicing a few minutes each day, you can build up your time and learn to focus your mind. You will find yourself less stressed in general, more productive, more energetic, and in turn those around you will sense this inner peace emanate from you and deal with you from a higher plane.
