I AM

i-am-am-exodus-3-14I am. Ever thought about that?

Your I AM-ness, your Consciousness, is the way in which you change your world. Whatever you attach to I AM you become.

The more I contemplated on this, the more I realized I did not know enough about. So, there I am at 2:00 am lying in bed enveloped by the darkness and wondering about this “I am”-thing. Perhaps I needed to revisit the definition of “am”.

According to source: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/am
am: (verb)
1st person singular present indicative of be.
—–and—-
be: (verb) (used without object), present singular 1st person am. present participle be·ing.
1. to exist or live.
2. to take place; happen; occur.
3. to occupy a place or position.
4. to continue or remain as before.
5. to belong; attend; befall.

So, if “am” is an indication of being, which is to exist – to occupy – (and get this), to remain as before. Then, you and I have always ‘Been’; for we exist and remain as before – eternal, immortal and infinite in our ‘being’. (which of course we can’t touch or see yet we have a sense of it, some perhaps have gone as far as saying they can feel their ‘being-ness’.

What is this “I Am”?! that I speak of? When I dig to the deepest part of my “being”, what is this that is – being?

Yes, pretty deep stuff here I know.

In Exodus 3:14, “I Am that I Am” is the response God used in the Hebrew Bible when Moses asked for his name. “I am that I am” is God referring to himself. “I am” is God’s name.

SO…. God is I AM THAT I AM, and you are I AM, and you make your destiny and your own fate by the things which you attach to that I AM, for that is what you really believe about yourself. If you give credence to fear by saying, “I am afraid,” then you are destroying yourself.

“I AM” is the fact of existence, and to know that gives you (and me) all power.
