The Next Level – Mindset

The Next Level
There may come a point where you may feel stagnant in your life. Here are five ways to take yourself to the next level: (this will work in both your personal and business life)

1. Unbelievable!
When people ask, “How are you?” or “How’s business?” respond with enthusiasm. If times are tough, fake it till you make it. Attitude is everything. By saying “unbelievable!” you purposefully choose a positive attitude and shift your perspective.

2. Every day play like a champion.
In your mind thinks of the words “every day,” and “I play.” Life is like a game, and you can either play it poorly or well. Champions always play with great attitude and extra effort.

3. Develop a genuine interest in others.
Take time to find out what is really happening in the lives of your loved ones, family, friends and co-workers. Get to know your people personally. Make people feel important, and they will accomplish more than you thought possible.

4. Read.
Here is a recommended reading: How to Win Friends and Influence People. This is a great gift for the holidays or any non specific occasion. Your relationships will benefit much from this small gift.

5. Change the way you talk with people around you.
Begin and end your contacts in a positive, upbeat fashion. Start by having people relate one specific positive thing that has happened since the last time you met with them and end by identify one specific positive aspect about the meeting. To get more out of your people, whether it be your loved ones or the people you work with, help them look for the good.

A little fact about Stairs:

The most critical characteristic of stairs, even more important than the size of any of the parts, is that every step be the same. In fact, building codes enforce this rule. Fire and building codes devote a lot of space to stairs; falls on stairs kill 4,000 people a year in the United States and another 2 million are seriously injured.
