For many years I had been indifferent about my birthday, but this year I want to thank all the people that took the time from their day to send me a kind word. Please know that your thoughtfulness was well received as a wonderful gift.
I took a few days and flew to the Caribbean and spent a couple of days with my mom and dad, my mom and dad played a special birthday song on the hour I was born (lucky for them it was in the morning so their master plan worked out as they blared the music through the house). A bouquet of colored daisies waited for me along with a beautiful Dominican cake and being surrounded with people that care and love me… a girl could not ask for more. (or can she…? )
