The Emptiness and The Wind

Angels on Oil by Daisy Raisler
Back in June of 2003, I was quietly walking and feeling the wind tenderly blowing past me, the quietness surrounding me gave me a feeling of emptiness and I was inspired to transfer the feeling into words.

The Emptiness and The Wind

“Who are you?” asked the Wind to the Emptiness.
I am the dreams unfulfilled.
I am the pregnant clouds full of rain.
I am the nightingales’ song.
I am the promises of sun rays at dawn.

The Wind thought for a moment and after a short pause asked,
“If you are all that, then… who am I?”

The Emptiness eternally responded,
“You are my mirror.
You are my strength.
You are my Cause.
You are the reason

You and I can be We”.

Daisy Says: Experience every moment. Embrace your existence.
The painting was a vision of a gentle frolic of angels that I had seen in my mind. I painted it… Oil on Canvass.
