Bakersfield, California

Mid July and I find myself out here in Bakersfield California.

Came out here to host a free seminar about how people can help themselves through foreclosure (there are many affected by the economy and are facing foreclosure across the United States); throught The Helpful Hands Foundation I hope we can make a difference and help communities and families get through this hard time.

It is so amazing, watching the sunrise in Florida and then six hours later…. having breakfast on the west coast in California.

Temperature in Los Angeles California was as high and dry at 111 degrees…. Caliente!

Drove into Bakersfield California and it was so odd to see oil derricks in front of businesses and on the side of roads.

Took the above picture in front of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel where we stayed.
Tomorrow we’ll head up to Sequoia National Park and hang out with the great redwood trees and splash in the Kaweah River.

Daisy Says: Enjoy the beauty around you.
