Beach Life

“If there’s a heaven for me, I’m sure it has a beach attached to it.” — Jimmy Buffet

Florida is a very long peninsula offering a coastline of beautiful beaches. The state of Florida has 360 miles of coastline where -at least- 189 of it offers official beach areas. You would think having seen one beach you’d seen them all… not the case, there are small things that make each beach unique from dunes to sand texture.

Canaveral National Seashore in New Smyrna Beach is one of our “go-to” beaches, we love it. It’s perfect for long walks, cycling and such… their is a fee to enter the park, they offer annual visiting passes if you plan on visiting often.

I can try to express how beautiful this beach day was, and still come short of expressing how Divine and Sacred the elements of what made it special. It just seemed as if we were being devoured by the clear and expansive cloud-free blue sky with the sun sending rays of love upon us.

I love this video I took of George on the beach shore, the sun looks like an angel!

The ocean offered it’s rythmic message in small murmurs of waves, beckoning us gently into its cleansing waters inviting us to purge and cleanse from any toxic energy that may have hitched a ride- truth is, if we do our best to be the observers of our own life we might be able to turn even those challenging days into special days.

That video with my flip-flops on the beach almost looks like they are floating. Love how the water and the beach both are shimmering, that’s so magical to me.

Truly if we look we can see glimpses of Heaven on Earth.
