Windjammer Cruises

A Caribbean Cruise can be truly exciting when experienced aboard a sail ship… and what better than a Windjammer-Barefoot Cruise!

I was fortunate to go on two of their sail ships (1986 and 1990) before they closed down their fleet back in 2007. Vacationers, island hoppers and sea lovers can relive the joy of salty air in their face, sun rises on the ocean and the quiet ruffling of majestic sails; all of this can be experienced on Island Windjammer Cruises. (new and improved!)

jam1Once the ship takes sail – all worries are left behind. The sound of island music being played on steel drums lift your spirits and liven your soul. jam2Your island destination depends on which sail ship you travel on… from the British Virgin Islands or the French West Indies. One of my most cherished memories was snorkeling among a school of hundreds yellow and blue fishes all around me, as well as swimming through caverns and looking at the lovely colored coral in the crystal clear watersjam4 AHOY MATES, come aboard… let’s head off to an adventure!!
