Our friend Lee visited us from Texas with his future bride Barbara. It’s sometimes tough when friends are on vacation mode and you still have to go around with your daily plans. One thing for sure about Florida and Floridians, we’re on a perpetual vacation with work in between.

We chose to go out for dinner… figured we’d go for sea fare. I wish I could remember the name of the restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, the food was not memorable… fortunately

the view of the inter-coastal made up for the food and so did the company.

After our meal we chose to top our outing by driving to the beach for a sunset view.

It was delightful to see Lee and Barbara filled with the flush of a newly engaged couple. These pictures catch the quirky fun character of our friend Lee.

I love the setting that Nature provided for us… the moon above us, the hues of the sky and the soft ebb of the ocean tide coming in and the jellyfish that made a perfect prop for me to dance with.
I love my friends and I love life.
